Re: Spurting fuel when starting engine

My turn :D The way our system is designed with the fuel tank fill and vent is pretty simple. On "Newer" models of the R25 the fuel fill and vent are very close to the same height level. If you "over fill" the tank you will have fuel not only to the top of of the fill but also the...

Re: Fresh Water Fill problem

Here is my thought. You have owned the boat for nearly two years and didn't have the problem until now. That eliminates a few questions for me to ask. First thing I would check, just as mentioned earlier in this thread is to make sure the tank is really empty and not full. Empty the tank completly a...

Re: Fuel Tank Mod

I cannot comment on the fuel tank other then I do not see any issues with doing this at all. I will certainly steer you away from Gel Cel batteries. They are very sensitive just like Gene had said about charging characteristics. I personally think 6 volts are becoming a thing of the past with the ne...

Re: Stiff Steering

This is the first I have ever heard of this happening. I have seen where the cables are stiff due to routing or something like that. I will have to ponder this with the guys around the shop and see if we can come up with any ideas. Will respond soon.

Re: Garmin Chart Plotter

The difference in the G2 "Vision" versus the regular G2 vision is a couple of small things. With the word vision in it, it adds a really cool three dimensional view of below the boat. You get what they call satellite imagery and Auto Guidance which is very helpful if you have a autopilot s...

Re: Limits of Capsizing

"If" its an EC no modifications have been made to the hull whether we were certified or not. Nothing has changed in that matter. We do not provide this type of information. Sorry.

Re: Pete Cleland

I was the most fortunate guy to be able to deliver Pete his new Ranger R29. I remember heading down to Bellingham with Pete calling me every 30 minutes of the way. This just happened to be the delivery that "I" did not take the time to put oversized load signs on the truck while hauling it...
