Or, buy an Apple watch and load a tide app. A typical tide watch like the one shown won't work around our home on the Gulf of Mexico. A tide app on my Apple Watch lets me know where we are in the tide cycle, a swipe on the watch shows me what to expect for tomorrow, with written high and low times and a graphic display.
It will also let me know (and can respond to) texts, phone calls, and e-mails. Check weather. Check stocks. Moon cycle. Etc, etc, etc. For less than half the price of that watch. All that said, I have always enjoyed having a nice watch. I have several... haven't worn any of them since getting that Apple Watch (as a gift) when they first came out. I thought it would be a gimmicky fad thing... I was wrong.
Don't get me wrong - that is a beautiful watch. I still appreciate a classy timepiece.
