Cheryll, Roam and I just completed our 1240-mile, 31-day cruise around the newly inaugurated "Shoe Loop." Here is a link to our trip report with stories and pictures;

What a great trip, thanks for sharing. I also like the name. I have put it on my bucket list.

Thanks for sharing your "Shoe Loop" cruise adventures Rich and Cheryll. I think you should have a founders burgee made to fly on Roam!

A great trip and good reporting.

Rich and Cheryll: Thanks for this report of what sounds like a great trip. Your highlights, pictures and summary were wonderful. It is in our plans now for the future. I think we might take twice as long once we retire and get this one started, but you have clearly given us a great idea of the way to go!

Wow great trip.. It was great to see you passing us at lock 42.. Didn't realize it was you until you had passed and saw the name 🙂 Wish we knew you where in the area we would have visited... Hope you git some butter tarts in Orillia..

Thanks, Rich, for the report of your trip.
The "Shoe Loop" has been on our bucket list for some time, waiting for when we purchase a Ranger Tug. We waved to you when you passed the marina at the Narrows between Gloucester Pool and Little Lake just east of the last lock of the Trent-Severn in Port Severn. We look forward to the day when we're able to follow your wake.
Safe travels, Ron.

Rich: Very nice write up of your journey. I enjoyed reading it and the adventures. In my area we have but one lock and that is only to go from the Puget Sound salt water to the lake Washing fresh water area.

Thanks for the great report and photos. Your trip had a variety that sounds very appealing, and it sounds like a fun trip. Thanks for the idea!

BTW Rich.... weren't you over at Anacortes a year or two back at one of the RT meetings. I vaguely recall meeting you on ROAM.
