We're launching a map of Ranger Tug/Tugnuts locations, all over the country, and the world. It's been in test mode and is ready for action. Find a fellow Ranger Tug owner in your region, or a region you plan to visit, and help them find you. The boats are color-code by model, and dealer locations are indicated by a person icon.

The World of Ranger Tugs

Zoom in and out to explore a region. Click on a name in the list to jump to the location and info. Or click on any icon on the map.

Send me a PM with any/all of the following information (it's up to you) and get your tug on the map:

Boat name
Boat model / hull# / model year
Member name
Your name (s)
Your location (as specific as you choose)
Your contact information (whatever you wish to share)
A link to a picture album, blog, whatever
Seasonal location, etc.

* NOTE: This is a public map. Keep in mind folks will be able to send you Private Messages and/or email if you include your Tugnuts member name, and the Tugnuts site requires folks to be registered and logged-in to access member profiles.

Cheers,

Bruce

Welcome to the first new batch of dots. You're on the map.

And, comments and questions are welcome in this thread.

Cheers,

Bruce

Great job Bruce, thank you.

Great idea!!
Can the link be added to the TugNuts home page?

That's in the queue.

This weekend my wife and I will be the proud owners of an R-21EC "Lady T". As soon as we do, I will provide the information needed for your map. I think this is an awesome idea and this will assist "Tugnutters" to get to know who is close by. 😀

Bruce -

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this project. It is an informative and useful tool in our Tugnut family toolbox. Let's hope every Tugnutter gets onboard.

We'll see if we can recruit some more dots for the map at the Rendezvous in Bremerton. Moondance will be heading over early this afternoon.

Cheers,

Bruce

Great Job!

I'm thinking the Ranger Tug Factory - Monroe should make the map. 18310 cascade View Dr, Monroe, Wa. 98272 360.794.7430

It would be nice if both Tugnuts and Ranger Tugs would add a link to The World of Ranger Tugs Map on their respective websites.

The link in now up - thanks to Bill "Da Nag" Giese.

Tell a friend.

Cheers,

Bruce

Bumping this up for folks who missed it. If you haven't already, check out the map and get on it!

Bruce, is this Apple iPad friendly. I ask as it does not seem so unless I'm doing something wrong. Do you have an iPad to test with?

The map displays but there are no member dots to zoom into!!!

Hi Barry - that's very odd. On my iPad, following the link within Safari seems to leave Safari and auto-boot the Google Maps application. All it shows is my current location. Is that the behavior you're experiencing?

Another map I've built (Moondance Destinations) works fine. I'm not aware of any differences in configuration. I'll check into it. Let's move further discussion to PMs or email.

Cheers,

Bruce

Sorry.... dont get it.... Im not computer savy. Have tried to add to the map but havent figured it out. ???

The "me" is Bruce Moore. Find one of his posts, click on PM and send him the info. You'll magically appear, no computer savvy necessary! 😉
