Defective Trailer Tire

These are photos of a defective KENDA/LOADSTAR trailer tire. The tire manufacture date indicated it was 3 years old. The warranty was for 4 years after manufacture or 2 years after purchase whichever came first. They wouldn't cover the defect since the purchase date was almost 3 years past. The tire had never been on the road since it was a spare.

    I asked Boat Specialist to install the same anchor on my RT27. They said it was too big and would require some new parts and modifications. Did you need to do anything special to use that anchor?
