Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous June 2012

We wound up with 38 people and 13 yachts. We had a unique opportunity to share the customization of our boats, the experience of thunderstorms, the challenge of formation boating with aerial photography on the Chesapeake Bay, and most importantly the warm compassion and sharing of our unique boating family. If you didn't make it this year, don't worry; just be sure to put it on your calendar for next year, the first weekend in June.

Dog Plank

Here is a wooden "Gang Plank" that I built for my dogs to board our boat. It measures 36"x18". The green parachute chords are used to secure the plank to the boat's rails, and I placed three "non-slip safety steps" on the top for my dogs . The noodle on the bottom is to protect the boat's gelcoat from the 1"x2". The plank is only 1/4" plywood, so I do not recommend stepping on the plank.

Grillamount

If your Bimini support poles don't allow you to mount your grill at the corner of the cockpit, I recommend you look at this product called Grillamount. It actually allows you to mount your Magma grill off your railing and supports the mount with a leg that rests itself on the gunwale.
