I elected to replace the basic factory Kicker radio with a Garmin TD50 touchscreen display in order to have an additional display screen to monitor and control the Seakeeper Ride. It matches the GHC50 autopilot in dimensions and can operate as a separate display for engine data, charts, media, and the Seakeeper Ride. I really like the aesthetic of the helm with the TD50 and GHC50 together and appreciate the additional display options without having to touch the chartplotter. We added a Fusion Apollo hideaway radio elsewhere which we control via the TD50 or the Fusion Audio app. This setup is a good option for anyone who wants an additional display screen.
