Has anyone used dinghy davits other than Weaver for a Ranger Tug, particularly a 31?
I bought my boat used last year. It came with Weaver davits and artcs, which I intended to use. However, they will not fit my dinghy (a 10.2 foot with 16" tubes, so I have to start from scratch, including removing the old davits.
Any other choices that work?

I did this on a cutwater 26 beam 8.6 my dinghy was 8.6 ft. I used wearver 4 up 4 out davits and bolted them on a 1/2 starboard for a little more height. I centered the dinghy a little offset (stern) by 6 inches so the dinghy was off set so the stern of dinghy would not be near the wake of the boat when under way. The dinghy bow would stick out past the beam but due to the angle of the dinghy bow it was higher and never touched the wake when under way. You need the 4 up and 4 out davits. I would watch the stern wake when under way to see where the boat wake is in relation to the swim platform. Your dinghy stern should not touch the wake to reduce drag.In picture this dinghy is 4 inches from where the boat wake would be when under way and does not touch it.You may need to move the davits to match and balance the dinghy or move the pads on the dinghy which is harder to do. My dinghy did not have davits pads so I glued them onto match the davits.

I did something similar to the configuration above (Rappja).
My dinghy is 8.5' long... I did not use the stand off poles. The dinghy leans against the railing. I centered the dinghy by moving one of the davits. Dinghy is clear from the wake, and, from the airflow on either side of the boat while underway.

Seawise makes davit system components. I think Davis does as well.

Did you use the 4 up and 4 out davits pictured above? If so, is that what keeps the dinghy out of the wake?

No. My Davits are the 4 up - only.
Because it’s close to the swim platform after I pull it up to the fence and swim platform edge - no water from wake enters.
I wanted less leveraged weight on the stern.
