Mase 2.5 Generator Issues

My wife and I have just purchased a 2010 Ranger 25 Tug with a MASE 2.5 generator.

On day one, It ran for an hour. When I tried to start it again the next day, It showed an error code of E82 (Overheating). I waited a day and tried to restart it several times. It would cough and die with the same code. Today, it turns over but doesn't start, So I filled up my diesel fuel tank thinking that the generator filler pipe was out of the tank (i put 30 gallons into my 75 gallon tank). I tried to restart and it wouldn't "catch". I cleaned the water strainer thinking it was causing the overheating issue code. I am out of ideas. I would appreciate any advise. Thank you !

No, Is that easy to do?

BTW, when I push the start button on the MASE control panel, it makes a weird noise. Something I have not heard before.

Not sure about that genset, but you might have to reset something in the control panel that acknowledges the error… first, check the manual. Good luck!
