English Tools or Metric or Both?

There is a Ranger Tugs video. Tim talks about every item he carries, and what he carries them in. I followed it word for word and I’m very happy.

+1 on this. I developed a curated collection of tools and found a suitable bag for storage, based on that tool list. Also, for the Volvo owners - I located the D4/D6 Service Manual online which has a specific list of the metric sizes needed and tourque specs for each.

Questions for anyone with a NexGen genset, do you happen to know the socket size of the “cleanable” oil filter?

I assume it’s metric (since Kubota) and know it’s larger than 16mm which was the max size on the Volvo list. Was meaning to bring my larger metrics from home when winterizing to confirm.

I have 4 tool bags that zip up, thus greatly reduce the amount of rust. Each bag has it's own use, meaning there is a screwdriver/wrench bag, electrical bag, sockets and larger tool bag and a catchall bag. I organized them as such since everytime I needed a tool I had to search thru each bag for tool I was looking for wasting time and frustration. You can spray your tool with WD 40 for rust prevention as well and store in a ziplock bag inside your zip up tool bag. I keep my power tools inside the boat with the chargers in the head staying fully charged.
