Thankful for all the good memories, the bad memories and the wild times. Here’s to another year full of excitement. Clear skies and following seas.

I am thankful that my wife is willing to spend time with me on a 27 foot boat for up to 10 weeks at a time!

We are thankful for our quality family time our boat has provided us this year. This photo was taken on a recent November weekend trip to Friday harbor. Always fun to think of new things to do to entertain each other and our two amazing kids. Our goal this weekend was “zero screens”!
Party on!

I’m thankful for those quiet moments on the water where it’s just me, the boat and the peace of the harbor. I love hosting friends and long journeys on our R27 as well, but these still, simple moments are what fulfill me the most. In this picture I'm enjoying lunch on the leeward side of Bassetts Island, MA.

Gathering around a table, sharing a bountiful catch from the sea—grateful for the friendships made and the experiences shared across this community. New friends quickly feel like long time friends. Plus, getting to savor what you caught together while telling fish tales and laughing at boating adventures makes life all the more rich.IMG_4564.jpeg

Thankful for spending time with the grandkids and showing them the beautiful PNW! Our grandkids live in Washington DC so our 2 week summer trips with them are very special. Here they are on the bow at Jones Island relaxing after a couple of hours of standup paddle boarding.

Thankful for our new boat (Aweigh Message, Solara S310-SB, on the right), everyone at Fluid Motion who has helped us with training and questions, a beautiful quiet fall Saturday in Hood Canal and new friends (@Mike and Sarah on Reel Salty Bliss, on the left) who have been so welcoming and helpful as we go on new adventures throughout the Sound.

Can't wait to meet even more folks in the months and years to come!

Chris, Lisa, Isaac, and Eliza

20251010-HYPERLAPSE_0012-2.jpegI don’t know if we’re eligible (we won a couple jackets earlier this year) but we have a lot to be thankful for!

After 2 years and 7000 miles of travel, we wrapped up our Great Loop in October. As everyone says, it was the adventure of a lifetime. We’re thankful to have had the opportunity to embark on such a voyage, and especially thankful that our trusty Ranger Tug carried us safely and reliably for the duration!

Thankful for all the places we get to explore and people we meet since getting our R-27. It's brought tons of joy and happiness to my wife and family.

For some it’s a nice hobby…for me, fishing is a passion, even an obsession, that came from a long line of fishermen, but most notably my Dad. So, there is no greater joy than capturing our 3 generations, I’m behind the camera, and passing on the legacy in Cutwater style 😎 .IMG_2619.jpeg

I'm just so grateful for the quiet moments and peaceful sunsets ...
