Update on the PowerTech SCE5 Channel Surfing edition propeller. (5 Blade PowerTech Prop).

This prop (in the photos) is traveling to IBEX (International Boat Builders Exhibition) this weekend and will be on display at the PowerTech booth all next week! Once she comes back, It's being mailed to me for preliminary testing.

The original stainless steel exhaust tube extension was too heavy, so they've made some modifications to lose some weight.
They are currently about 5-6 weeks out on production for the single-piece, all stainless, prop.

They come as illustrated, with Channel Surfing engraved on the prop.
There's a really funny back-story on how that happened... 😀

Be sure to stay tuned for more Channel Surfing...

And just like that, Channel Surfing is sport'n a new wheel!

I also ran this prop on a 2026 R27-OB with the new Yamaha F350 and saw 2.2mpg at 30mph with a WOT of 6150 RPM at 43mph. Pretty impressive.

Looks great! Any word on the rework/replacement schedule for those who have the original Channel Surfing model?

Jared at PowerTech says he's working through the list. I know of a few others who've received theirs. Feel free to contact him.
