Majestic antenna device

Does anyone know what the majestic "box" thats online with the TV antenna is? After several years I just noticed it, tucked away at the rear of the hanging locker. A booster? Is it useful, how do you know it works?

I think that's the antenna's power supply. I've only used the TV to pick up live broadcasts a couple of times, so I don't know how effective having power to it is.
The antenna's spec sheet lists an item as "Power Supply Kit", with a diagram showing a small box.

You found the power source for the UFO looking TV antenna. The Majestic antenna installed on these boats is actually a fantastic antenna. Unfortunately though, the TV that's broadcast over the airwaves we never found useful. QVC Shopping, religious channel, black and white shows (like the Munsters). The best TV we remember seeing on it was anchored in Prevost Harbor we were able to watch Victoria, BC news.

I uninstalled our TV antenna, added Internet to the boat, and stuck a ROKU on the TV so we could stream YouTube.

If you haven't yet investigated the antenna, I'd suggest you check that its still waterproof.

Mine was leaking and was a large contributor to the ruined headliner as there is a straight line hole through the stack cap and the roof below it. I could see daylight through there once the headliner came out!

No leaks, and don't use the ufo antenna often as our home port is right at the edge of any broadcast tv. We too use an Internet device. No leaks from the antenna so far.

The antenna booster on my 2021 RT25 LE is hot wired, always on. Helps with the 2w parasitic drain. I’ve pulled fuses, so far haven’t found its power connection.
