Can someone tell me what I need to purchase to replace the existing ethernet cable on my Garmin 7215 chartplotter as my radar is not functioning properly. Thanks.
 
My cable end got water damaged, so I replaced just the end connector. I bought the kit on Amazon that included the connector and the crimping tool. This saved me from running a new wire.
 
Good idea. I have no power to the array. Not sure where the issue is.
 
I would check the plug at the radar dome for corrosion to see if it has gotten water in the connection. Mine had gotten water in there, and I could see the corrosion. I had to replace both the Ethernet plug and receptacle. If it has a separate power plug at the radar dome, unplug and check for corrosion and check with a volt meter that it is getting power.
