Searching through the forums and not quite finding it, figured I'd take a shot at someone knowing the answer.

In current model R29's...any idea where the backbone is?

I've looked behind the helm via the panel in the head and other than it being just about the worst cable management I've ever seen (coils and coils of cables unbound and unstrapped and blocking views) I can't find the thing. Its so packed with cables I can't even put eyes on tracing a NMEA cable to where it might be.

I suspect its in the cave as others have suggested in prior model years, but thought someone might confirm before I crawl in there.

THANKS!

I had a 2024 R29 and it was in the cave. If I remember correctly it was behind the pressure fit panels in the upper right close to the throttle. It was easy to get to, after being told where it was although it was tight
