When the weather gets snotty it’s nice to have some kind of water repellent on the windows. Last night I used one tube of Aquapel to treat the front windows of our Ranger Tug R-43. The starboard window has a correct application but I ran low when I got to the center window. The port side window has no treatment because rather than open another tube I thought it would make an interesting test. The weather in the Strait of Georgia cooperated to give us a really good show of just how well Aquapel works. Unfortunately, it is hard to get hold of. Most of the Aquapel products on Amazon are fake. If you get five tubes for ten bucks, you’re buying tubes of water.

We tried a ceramic window coating this year and it was awesome... for 2 months. With how much effort it was to apply, I don't think I will be keeping up with it regularly. I could see myself doing it again before a big trip, but that would be it.

Good to hear about RainX. I’ve used it on cars and it’s a lot easier to source.

@Kevinandcarol has something too that is supposed to be great. Looking forward to trying it.

I have found Aquapel to perform like you show and is far superior to RainX, but dang, it is hard to get.
