Hi Guys,
I have to replace the capsule in my Ritchie compass mounted at the helm. Seems to have lost a lot of fluid. Does anyone know the model number? It might be the Ritchie voyager (S-87) but I would like to confirm before I order it.

watching - mine has just done the same - in fact I saw bubbles rise up when I tapped it this weekend. Im thinking a gasket has failed and its leaking below. im going to remove mine and see if its repairable
 
I have heard of the fluid boiling out of them in the hot summer sun. I cover mine with a white towel when not cruising and they have never had this issue.
 
Got down to the boat today and took the compass apart. My boat is a C-28 model year 2013. As Gavin said, it was indeed the F-83. My capsule was marked "non-refillable". I ordered a new capsule from the Ritchie site. Just as well as mine was probably cracked anyway.
