Cummins QSD 2.0L Engine Zinc location

I am having trouble locating the zinc for my Cummins 2.0 engine. The manual supplied by Cummins is very poor. If you have changed your zinc and can help me locate mine it would be appreciated. If you have a picture it would be most helpful.

Aft end of the engine...
Look at the turbo...
Left (starboard) of the turbo is the air filter - black can with orange labels and white lettering..
Left of that is a round white can with a black hose connecting it to the air filter
Just below the mid point black hose and straight forward is the end of the after cooler
There will be a wire harness laying against the end of the cooler..
Lift that up and you will see a flat hex nut plug
It is probably metric but I used a 3/4" box wrench
Lefty-loosey and it is TIGHT

Last time I called parts at Ranger they told me there was no anode on this engine (obviously incorrect)
I am in need of one also - so anyone?
Yeah, I can call a Cummins dealer but that will be a 1000% mark u p...

OK, true confessions - senior moment at the wrench
It was the 7/8" end of the wrench I used, not the 3/4" - doh

I believe it to be the E2A (1") ...

Mine has crumbled and fallen down into the engine so NOW the end of the heat exchanger is coming off to fetch the pieces - the 'thump thump thump' sound you hear is not the UPS truck delivering, it is me smucking my forehead against a steel column, over and over...

Ahhh jeez, how do I get into the messes?

If you want the Zinc only without the brass plug, it is E-2AZ (but you don't get a fresh washer for the plug)

Suspect you are going in for a bit of overkill trying to remove the crumbled pieces of the engine anode from the water jacket. The pieces that have not already disolved will breakdown rather quickly and flush on through the cooling system with the normal water flow. You do not have enough materiel in there to create much of a blockage and it will breakdown and disolve anyway.

The last engine anodes refills I purchased from BoatZincs.com for my Cummins 2.0 QSD were stock number "E-1GZ". The refills are 1" long x 1/2" in diameter with a 3/8"-16 thread on the end at $2.35 each. You will need to cut them off a little to get the 3/4" length that Cummins specificies in the owners manual.
