Help me please. I installed an accumulator tank on my fresh water system and cleaned out my filter. Everything worked fine after. I went to run some water a little later and nothing, no water, no pump running, and no gauge for water in the tank. I searched for the 10A fuse, but never found it. Anybody know where that fuse is, and what's it labeled as? I felt around the pump for reset, nada. Unrelated, (I think) both the port side 12v outlets quit working, checked the fuses, all are good. Tried several different 12v devices, so it's not the fuse in the plug. Now what?

Since the water pump and water gauge are both not working, and other 12 volt items too, I suspect it is the same cause. Check all battery connections, house battery switches, and make sure the batteries are showing a full charge.

Brad,
Thanks for the reply. I was on shore power with a full charge in the battery's. One 12v outlet quit a week ago, the other today, the water system failed today too. All while on shore power with full charge in the battery's.

That is puzzling. Maybe corrosion at wire connections somewhere along the wire runs?

The 12V receptacles are fused at the same panel as the pressure fresh water pump. If all other 12V accessories that are fused to that fuse panel have power and function, the main battery connection is good and the main fuse is good. If all fuses are not blown ( checked with a ohm meter (best way, sometimes they look good but failed) Then check for 12V at the wire connection at load side of the fuse panel. If both check ok then check the ground connection for each failed devise. Check the terminal screws (tight) check the terminal connection for a proper crimp and connection. Check all connections for corrosion. The fact that you lost one receptacle and now another plus the water pump I would suspect a bad connections at the crimps or loose connections at the terminal screw connections. Chances are the same assembly technician made all the connections, and possibly while they worked fine for a while may have not been tightened properly or crimped correctly and loosened from vibration. Just a thought.

Thanks all, I'm heading to the boat to check this out again.

Well, whatever happened tripped the main house breaker. I was able to restore all power to everything but the fresh water pump. I determined the pump blew and tripped the breaker. Ordered a new pump. One 12v receptacle haven't worked for a while, I was able to pull it out and discovered it was melted inside and on the back between the 2 blade connectors.
