any one put a chip or a tuner on the 25 ft for a bit more power and speed I know in trucks the fuel gain is big they are saying the same for this motor any one tried any thing yet

I guess you are asking "How do I convert my D3-150 to a 170 or 200?"

My answer would be, "Carefully". You're going to affect a number of things like the prop and possibly the gearing etc.

thanks that was a good read just putting this out there I'm not wanting to go 30 Just want to be able to do 20 to run to the fishing hole but not at flat out on my motor. it is quite common for a company to have the same motor with different HP to save manufacturing costs (Yamaha 50 and 60 are the same ) and its just a case of what tune is put in it. thanks for info if there is more bring it
