If you are attending the 2011 Ranger Rendezvous in Bremerton this September, please download the registration form, print and complete it, and mail it with a check for the registration fee. Mailing instructions are included on the form. The forms are needed prior to September 2.

Download Registration form.

Thanks from the planning committee!

Bruce and or Vicki: We'll fill the form out and send in a check in right away, however I have a question about dockage. Do we need to make these arrangements separately or will a slip be reserved based on the registration form submission? Please advise.

Thanks,

Regarding moorage at Port of Bremerton:

If you have signed up on Tugnuts and told us you're coming to the PNW Ranger Rendezvous, you have a space. We have made arrangements with the Port of Bremerton and the port has assured us that everyone will have dockage. When you arrive dock space will be assigned to you and each boater is responsible for paying for their space with the Port of Bremerton.

Thanks for asking the questions, so we can clear up and make everything run smoothly. It is going to be a GREAT event! Watch for more details in August on the PNW Ranger Rendezvous single topic thread.

2011 Rendezvous Planning Committee,

I would like to attend this years rendezvous in Bremerton. I will send in the registration form (which check) when I return home this week. Can I still get a slip for the event? Do I need to make the arrangements?

Respectfully,

Tim and Judy Sorensen
R-29 "Two Knight"

Tim & Judy of Two Knight - I've added you to the list of boats coming to the Rendezvous and your boat makes 50! (not counting any factory boats) Please check out the thread under PNW Ranger Rendezvous for more details on the daily events. As we get closer to the event, more information will be on that thread. Let me know which day you'll be arriving, and yes you'll have a slip when you get there.

Welcome to the Ranger Family!

Laurie

I have to tell all of you how exciting this whole event is turning into:

There are a record number of boats coming
Owners from several states are flying in
11 back-to-back owner's forums on Friday spanning a wide range of interests
Entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights
Incredible food provided by wonderful people (they know who they are)
A record number of vendors coming to answer questions on Saturday
Gifts for all
A silent auction of cool stuff to benefit a good cause
A large number of employees from the factory to join in the fun
Demos of the new boats

This more than a just a regional rendezvous, this is a national gathering of wonderful people.

And, the Bremerton Marina is being an excellent host

The deadline for to sending in your registration is fast approaching, if you are on the fence, you need to decide. If you are not coming, you are going to miss something really, really special.

This event committee is just amazing.

I have talked to at least one person, there maybe others that have been busy cruising this summer and have not sent in their registration. John (Tym) and June of Circle T. Their boat is in Anacortes and they have been flying back and forth from So. Cal. Tym told us last night that he has not been able to connect with TugNuts, and of course does not have a printer to print registration even if he could connect. I told him I would pass along his intention to attend and pay when he arrives.

Karen and I just mailed in our registration and check today. We are looking forward to seeing all of Tutta Bella's siblings and cousins.

When you come to the Bremerton Marina for the Rendezvous, please use these instructions because we have up to 70 boats coming with most coming on Thursday and Friday:

1. Once you can see the breakwater of the marina, which is close to the Washington State Ferry Terminal, switch your VHF radio to CHANNEL 68
2. Say, "Ranger Rendezvous, Ranger Rendezvous this is ________(your boat's name)"
3. Me or one of my trusted and trained dockmasters will answer you with, "This is Ranger Rendezvous, what is the length of your vessel?"
4. The length of your vessel tells us what part of the marina to direct you to. The Ranger 25's and 27's and the Cutwater's will be on the inside of the breakwater. The Ranger 29's and a few of the Ranger 21's will be on the finger piers that are close to the breakwater.
5. As you go around the breakwater, look for the dockmasters wearing the orange reflective vests as they will guide you and talk to you about where to go. There are NO assigned spaces. You will be assigned to the next available space. It will be your choice to turn your boat around to dock on a specific side.
6. The dockmasters will provide assistance in initially securing your boat to the cleats. The final tie up is on you.
7. Then, you must go to the marina office to pay your moorage fee with the Port of Bremerton before you register for the Rendezvous.

See you soon!
