The 2011 Big Seattle Boat Show will open Friday January 21st and run through Sunday January 30th. Our annual VIP night will be Friday January 21st from 4-8 P.M. Unlike the last couple of years the VIP night is actually on the opening day of the show. The show actually opens at 11:00 A.M. on Friday. VIP night is by invitation only and includes free parking and free admission to the show. We will have some door prizes, giveaways and lots of boats to look at! This is a fun event and a great opportunity to get to know other Ranger Tug owners and enthusiasts. Please send me an e-mail at jeffmessmer@rangertugs.com if you are able to attend our VIP party on Friday night. If you are unable to attend the Friday night party but would like to visit the show on another day then send me an e-mail and I will place tickets in will call for you.

See you a the show!

Jeff

STEVEANDTINA ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR A GOOD PLACE TO STAY CLOSE TO WHEREVER THE SHOW IS BEING HELD :?:

Hotels would be based upon what you want to pay and if you want to rent a car. If you are looking to stay close, the Marriot across from Bell Harbor is within walking distance. However, it is pricey. $150.00 or more per night.

If you don't mind an hour ferry ride in each direction, you can stay at Bremerton and ride the ferry back and forth. I could get you rooms at the Hampton Inn for $75 to $100 per night. Let me know ASAP though on the rooms.

We opted for the Silver Cloud as recommended by the crew of ZUMA!!

Would be nice to have a similar night for the New England followers during the Boston Boat Show. Would be a good time for an update on the first Tugfest to be held in June.

-I am guessing the silver cloud stadium would be within walking distance of the boat show :?: --- steveandtina,, still looking for a place to stay 🙁

Count the crew of LAXEY to be attending the VIP 4pm-8pm event. Gill, and I + plus my son will be there without doubt.

Thanks Jeff for the invite, and looking forward to seeing you all.

It's been a few months away from the boating scene as we've moved house from Woodinville to Edmonds and paying work has been very busy during last few months of 2010. We've kind of settled into our home in Edmonds which is but 5 mins from our boat moorage at Port Of Edmonds. 😀

The late R. David Adams (local famous Seattle landscaper) custom designed the house in 1958 which he lived in until he passed in 2000. He left his Seattle business to the employees. We now enjoy all that he accomplished in his house. It is a world unto itself with a beautiful twin-trunk 150' Dawn Redwood (very rare) in the back garden. David did not spare expense landscaping his house and we are benefiting from it. Can't wait until spring to see all that springs up. The house was front paged in Sunset magazine twice along with articles. We are very fortunate to have found his house for sale.

later.... -Barry
