Is there any new info on the August Rendesvous. Last year Ithink the registration forms were out. I don't want to miss any details.

Hello everyone,
Below is a link related to the August rendezvous. You can go there and download the registration form and rendezvous information. We look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks Mike and Carol, it looks like a nice event! Debbie and I will be attending.

As mentioned earlier, Peggy and I are planning to sail from the Bass River in Dennis, MA. to the rendesvous. We plan to follow the same route as we sailed last year. We will depart Dennis, Ma. on 15 Aug. and sail to the Point Judith, RI area and probably gunk hole above the harbor of refuge that night. Thursday, we will meet all at Essex. If there are any boats that would like to meet up along the route that would be great. Any one interested, give a yell and we can coordinate by PM.

Dottie and I will be attending the Essex rendezvous. I have made the reservations with the marina and the check is in the mail.

We have had a family emergency come up and we will not be able to attend the rendezvous this year. I will be going to Arizona in a couple of days and do not know when I will return. Please tear up my check. I will cancel our reservation with the marina. Sorry for the short notice. This is the second time I had to cancel. Hopefully, third time will be a charm.

Sorry to hear about your emergency. Hope all turns out well and hopefully next year we will see you there.
Regards,
Mike Rizzo

We had a great turnout and a great time by all. Pictures will soon be posted for all to see and share. Those of you who took pictures please post them so others can enjoy. The presenters did a great job and Garmin was phenominal with providing updates, recalibrations and even repairs.
NEXT YEAR'S EVENT - August 22 thru 24, 2013 - we will provide details on the venue and events as things progress. The title will be - Northeast Ranger Tug Rendezvous - 2013
We have a lot of input and ideas for next year and an event committee has been formed, so mark your calendars and we hope to see you there.

Regards,
Mike Rizzo & Carol Whittier

Many thanks to Mike, Carol, and everyone involved with the Rendezvous. Every presentation was excellent. The meals and facility were also great. I had a great time and look forward to the Northeast Rendezvous next year.

Peggy and I had a great time and enjoyed the presentation and the conversations with the other praticipants. I would have MUCH preferred to have sailed to the rendesvous rather than trucking the boat to the site. The traffic back to the Cape was the PITS. Carol and Mike, you really pulled off a great event. We will put some minutes of (our very first) group meeting out soon.

John,

I had a very smooth ride home on Saturday. It took 7 hours to get back to Warwick, RI. I was in and out of light to moderate rain which helped to keep the boat clean. Vis was good with only a short period of about 1 mile, more the rest of the time.

The NorthEast Ranger Tug Rendezvous was a big success. It was great to see tuggers from last year's event and to meet new tuggers, too. The meal Friday evening was superb and along with the raffles, a fun time for all. The seminars were informational, and the Garmin guys and Tiger LeBelle, the Yanmar/Cummins guru, were all over our boats, making tweaks and updates. Peter and Diane Haywood from Winter Island Yacht Yard were the King and Queen of the event, helping everyone with answers to questions and giving sound advice and suggestions. Thank you, especially, to Carol Whittier and Mike Rizzo for jumping in and making it a success. Those Ranger Tug owners who passed up attending this year's NorthEast Rendezvous should mark your calendars for next year, August 22 - 24 (I think), in Greenport, NY.
