I am considering installing a 2nd shore water connection. I would then not use the one from the manufacturer on the starboard topside. Connecting to the starboard location is impossible unless on the dock side. I also believe there is a kink in the present hose (having read of this issue on TugNuts) as the water pressure from the dockside supply is poor at best. Has anyone added a 2nd supply point. If so, where did you connect/locate the "2nd" dock water supply connection on the deck and where did you tie into the system? Thank you.

Turns out the shore water regulator was the culprit, not a kink in the hose. I was able to replace it and it now works fine. I will live with the factory topside installation for now as changing over to a less vulnerable location is an off season activity.

While I had my plumbing hat on I installed a 1/2" brass Y valve to the factory installed raw water head supply. I then connected into the on boat tank supply, allowing me to use fresh water to the head as well as the factory installed sea water connection. I did this as we boat exclusively in salt water. As you may know salt water will stink after being stagnant for a period.

The trade off (while connected to the shore water supply) to using the tank supply for the head is worth it. We found our gray water use and only "at sea use" of the tank causes less tank refilling and water pump use while giving use "serious" flow.
