2012 R29 Auto Pilot CCU Location

My heading indicator on the chart plotter and auto pilot heading reading have suddenly became 60+ degrees off.

I have reviewed the various posts on this issue and some indicate that storing metal or current flow in or around the auto pilot ccu/ball will cause this type of error.

My questions is: Where is the auto pilot CCU located on a 2012 Ranger Tug 29?

open the lower cabinet door next to the fridge, remove the drawers and you should be able to see the CCU.

When I had the same problem I had to run the sea trial wizard to recalibrate the CCU.

Thanks for the CCU location tip -- all was good and tight as it should be.

Thanks also for the wizard tip. Did the wizard on flat water, took about 5 minutes and all is well on Sunny Tug.
