Does the motor turn at all? The impeller could be blocked with something. I just changed out my bowl for the larger one and found that when the bowl is removed, you can see the impeller/macerator blade. Reach down with a tool or dowel (not with your hand!) and try to turn the macerator blade. if the motor is locked up and not blocked by something, the head will have to be dismantled.
