Pls cfm I have this correct.
Start battery has No switch. It is on all the time.
Battery switch for 12v panel has nothing to with engine. Engine supposed to start when 12v panel switch is off.
Thruster batt. Switch should be On or Off? When boat is
Off at dock for the night?
The auto bilge pump is hot wired and works when all switches in Off position.

Start batt has no switch. that is correct.
House 12v battery switch has nothing to do with the engine side. I highly recommend to keep all switches and specially if your not using your vessel in the Off position. The bilge is wired hot, this is correct too.

Just to clarify though... the start battery is wired to the ‘start key or switch.’ This has to be on in order for the engine to start....
