I have a Ranger Tug 2013 25SC with a Volvo Penta D3 150 engine. As soon as I start the engine, even when cold, the Inlet Air Temperature High alarm comes on. I can’t find a sensor for air inlet temperature but Port Boat House (where I purchased the boat) thinks it could be part of the air inlet pressure sensor (map). I bought the part but I can’t find it anywhere on the motor, I think it should be just after the turbo, but there aren’t any sensors/wiring harnesses near that area, and I have looked over the entire engine with no luck. Am I correct in assuming it is a faulty air pressure intake sensor that also does temperature? The part has 4 pins, two for pressure and two for temperature? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
