Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs 2014 Roche Harbor Rendezvous
Itinerary:

SLIP ASSIGNMENTS: As you approach Roche Harbor marina contact the dock crew on VHF channel 78A. Give them your boat name and boat model, and request your slip assignment. They will have your docking preferences as submitted when you registered, and will accommodate you based on order of request and availability. They will also be there to help catch your boat.

Thursday September 4th, 2014

10:00 - 4:00 Registration opens: Come on down to the hospitality float to check in and receive your itinerary, name tags and gift bag full of goodies! The Roche Harbor dock crew will stop by your boat to settle up with your moorage.

10:00 – 4:00 Customer Service Desk: If you have a question or need some assistance on your Cutwater Boat or your Ranger Tug then check in with our Customer Service Dispatcher located on the hospitality float. The appropriate person/vendor will be dispatched to your boat based on the order of request.

10:00 – 4:00 Boat Display: 2015 Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs will be displayed on the promenade between B and C docks. Be sure to stop by for a look!

2:00 The Premier Official Corn Hole Tournament: Let the fun begin! Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Be the first one to have your name on the coveted toilet seat trophy! Prizes will be awarded at the Saturday night dinner. Be sure to sign up at the Hospitality float!

5:00 – 6:30 Hosted meet and greet! Come on up to the Roche Harbor Pavilion and Courtyard for appetizers and a glass of beer or wine. Sliders, chicken wings and Veggie trays will be served by Roche Harbor Resort. Roche Harbor is also setting up a big screen and has made this private venue available for the entire Seahawks game. (Be sure to wear your name badge) Go Seahawks!

7:28 Roche Harbor Colors Ceremony: Just before sunset each night during the summer (May 9 through September 28), the flags of Roche Harbor, Washington state, Great Britain, Canada and the United States are retired.  Their dock staff lower the flags while a song plays, and before the American flag comes down a cannon shot booms throughout the harbor. 7:00 – 3:00 Wander up for a complimentary Starbucks drip coffee, tea or juice and pastry at the Lime Kiln Café or Espresso Tent. (Bring your voucher and name badge)

10:00 – 3:00 Tug & Cutwater Crawl: Share what you’ve done with your boat, or check out what
others have done with theirs. Every boat will be given a Welcome Aboard / Not Now sign. Display yours accordingly, and/or cruise the dock looking for open boats. (Friday and Saturday 10:00 - 3:00)

10:00 – 4:00 Boat Display: 2015 Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs will be displayed on the promenade between B and C dock. Be sure to stop by for a look!

10:00 – 5:00 Poker Run: Take a tour of Roche Harbor Resort while collecting playing cards. Best two hands win a Prize! Prizes to be awarded during Margarita happy hour.

10:00 – 11:00 Fishing seminar: Meet Jim Hough on the hospitality float. Jim will give up a few of his secrets which may help you catch the big one! There will be a sign up sheet for the fishing derby on the hospitality float.

12:00 – 5:00 Sat Tugnuts Salmon Fishing Derby: Starts immediately following the seminar. There will be prizes for the largest fish, most overall weight and hidden weight. Fishing starts at 12:00 P.M. Friday with final weigh in by 5:00 P.M. Saturday. Prizes will be awarded at the Saturday night dinner. Who is going to have their name on the perpetual trophy?

12:00 Blind Fold Dinghy Race: Grab your dinghy and your coxswain and meet us on the East side of the marina between the guest dock and the shore. There will be amazing prizes for first, second and third place. Bring blindfolds! Who is going to have their name on the perpetual trophy?

5:00 – 6:30 “Margarita Bob” will be on the hospitality float with his famous margarita machine. Margaritas, salsa and chips provided. Meet “The Boat Guy” Chip Hanauer (Be sure to wear your name badge)

7:00 – 8:30 Hosted BBQ Dinner: on the hospitality float served by Haleys Bait Shop and Grill. Main Dish: Austin Blues smoked beef brisket and citrus marinated boneless chicken breast. Side Dishes: Coleslaw, corn on the cob, Haleys own baked beans, rolls and butter. Plates, silverware and napkins are provided. Bring your favorite beverage. Beer provided courtesy of Elliott Bay Brewery. (Be sure to wear your name badge)

12:30 – 3:30 Artisan Fair : Join us on the hospitality float for our annual artisan fair.

5:00 – 6:30 Hosted wine and cheese party: Roche Harbor Marina will be serving wine and cheese at Shipwreck Beach near the tennis courts and pool. NW Farmstead cheese board to include local cheeses from San Juan Island, nuts and fruit. You are welcome to walk around, row over to the dinghy dock, or hitch a ride with guest services on their transporter. (Be sure to wear your name badge)

7:00 Hosted dinner: Roche Harbor will be serving Burgers and Brats on the hospitality floats. Side dishes include a tomato/cucumber salad and a potato salad. Plates, silverware and napkins are provided. Beer provided courtesy of Elliott Bay Brewery. (Be sure to wear your name badge)

Awards: The coveted Corn Hole Tournament Trophy will be awarded to the champion. Fishing derby prizes will also be awarded.

8:00 – 10:00 70’s Party! Dancing under the stars! Dust off that leisure suit or tie-dye and join us for some fun on the hospitality float! We will provide the disco ball and the DJ! Prizes for grooviest outfits (Be sure to wear your name badge)

FYI... Roche Harbour Wi-Fi info.

I've enquired about the Wi-Fi availability at Roche and based on my previous experience there, as well as the current situation, the Wi-Fi signal is pretty poor on the guest dock unless you're opposite the Chapel and close to the land end of the guest dock close to the Kayak dock/station. The further away from the Hotel you are the worser the Wi-Fi signal strength becomes.

The Wi-Fi antenna is located in the Hotel and if a strong signal is required then sitting in the Hotel lounge will be much better.

The Wi-Fi is free and the network name is Roche Harbour or Rock Island.

I'm told the current Wi-Fi Passcode during the meeting time can be obtained when registering and paying for your slip.
