2015 C30-CB shower mixer access?

I need to replace the shower mixer (leaking) and inspect the whole assembly for leaks, but don’t see an obvious way to access it. Has anyone dealt with this?
Both the shower and sink mixers got busted during the unprecedented low temps in the PNW (multiple days in low teens). I didn’t drain the system and was out of the country when the super low temps arrived. Lesson learned.

Hi pwojnaro,

You can access the mixing valve by going through the q-berth. Go forward in the q-berth and remove the "rat fur" covered panel at the very forward wall (remove the mattress first. It will make it easier) and you will see the mixing valve forward and up. Hope this helps.

Resurfacing this thread. Ralf, what type of pipe/hose fitting is on the mixer? I also need to replace the mixer in mine, the cartridge is failing. Mine is a C30CB also, but 2016.

Bubbling this back up. Anyone have any insight? is it just 1/2" screw on?
