The C 28 manual shows the air cond water intake on the port side, but in my boat, that's where the generator cooling water intake is. My air cond water intake is on the starboard side and it looks like it has a one-way valve in the line to keep the water from running out when the boat is in the lift. Does that sound right to you? Just trying to know where things are. Thanks.

On my 2018 C24 I have to close the thru hull valve to the AC when I take the boat for a spin or trailer it. If I don’t then I have to prime the system each time. My boat does not have a one way valve. I am in Herrington Harbor North.

I have a 2014 Cutwater C-28 on a lift with generator and AC. My boat has thru-hulls for the AC and generator on the port side. After a day on the Bay I don't like diving into the hot engine room to shut off the AC thru-hull. I do not have any "in-line shutoff - just the thru-hulls. The AC does lose it's prime but usually will self-prime on my next trip at about 12 kts. If not, I prime it at the strainer.

Thanks KKRCRACE and Bails023: I see that both of you are nearby. Hope to run across both of you.
