New Owner.... I just purchased a 2017 Cutwater 28 and the Owners Manual I downloaded from Cutwater has locations of equipment (inverter, charger, etc) in different locations in the diagrams than they are in my boat? Is there a specific OM for the 2017 C28 or have other 2017 owners had the same experience? Thanks, Thomas22

No. The best you are going to get is the OM for a 2014-2026 C28 diesel at the Cutwater site.
Sometime between 2016 and 2017 there was a substantial revision to the C-28. Cutwater had to move to a different and larger generator or A/C unit (not sure which or if both) that required moving the black water tank to a port side midship location. This required a host of other hardware and electrical changes and relocations.
While all the systems are pretty much reflected in the C-28 published OM, finding where things are located is a bit of a treasure hunt.
Personally I like the black water tank location in our 2017 C-28 as it reduces weight at the stern. The trade off is that getting a vent filter installed is pretty challenging. And I like having two batteries to port and two to starboard (house) as this balances the weight better and improves access a bit.
Good luck with your treasure hunt!

Thanks for your help on this... I guess I'm not totally surprised... Take Care, Thomas
