Good afternoon all,

We are looking for a recent model R23. I stumbled upon a 2017 R23 with an inboard 170 HP Diesel with counterrotating props.

Had completely forgotten you could get they early models with a diesel.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts, pro/Cons, etc. on an R23 with an inboard Diesel.

Thanks
Dan

I would hate to lose the storage space. We can fit the Takacat and ePropulsion motor in the center locker.

On the plus side, you will have hot water via the engine.

They think there were only about 4 of them built.

It has only been used in fresh water. Top speed is only 34 mph. However, I suspect it gets good mileage.

Doubt I am interested, just found it unique and thought I would get you all's thoughts.

I will at least go see it. I suspect, without the outboard, it looks more like the R29
