Hello, I am having an issue with a new to me 2108 R29CB with being able to light the stove burners or oven. Both propane tanks are full, and one is connected. No propane gets to the stove or oven. I see no pressure reading on the gauge (I verified both are full with a propane station) when fully connected. I see there is what looks to be an electric shutoff valve in the propane locker on the swim step. I suspect that valve is closed. I cannot find any way to electrically actuate the valve to see if that will get propane flowing. Any suggestions?

A couple of things. I assume you have pushed the button at the xintex device for on and both lights are lit. You should hear a click at the valve if someone is near it when turned on and the solinoid does get hot when in use for a while. You could also stick probes into the wires or I am pretty sure that the wires plug into one another so a disconnect and probe into opening will work also. Check all connections to make sure they are clean and not corroded and you have power from the leads.
Once you have determined that the valve is functional the other problem could be the tank itself. They have a safety feature that seals them under certain conditions. Try turning off the valve, then disconnect the tank from the hose. Make sure stove and oven valves are closed. Reconnect hose to tank and turn on tank valve. This usually frees up the safety. However, you may have a bum safety.

On a 2018 R29S, the switch for the propane solenoid is at the aft end of the counter (near the door) next to the top drawer. The solenoid is "off" (no gas flowing) if one red light is on. The solenoid is on (gas flowing) if 2 red lights are on.
As mentioned above, there should be an audible click at the valve in the propane locker when the solenoid is activated to on. I can occasionally hear mine from the cabin if it is very quiet outside.

The solenoid also has a "self Test" that lights several of the vertical green lights as it performs the test.

I hope that helps.

One other word on the propane tanks.
Open the valves SLOWLY.
If opened too quickly the tanks OPD valves will sense an open connection and shut off the flow of gas.
Safety feature built into the tanks.

I would start with the fact you said you’re not seeing anything on the pressure gauge. Assuming the same with either tank, then either the gauge has failed or it’s the safety valve as Knotflying pointed out. You could disconnect the tank open and shut it quickly as listen for the propane escaping. Thats at least a starting point. Good luck.

Same here. Went thru all of the 'troubleshooting'...but I hadn't read the directions:
"....need to HOLD IN the stove buttons after pressing the igniter -until the thermocouple heats up (to hold the gas flow-control valve OPEN) approx. 20-30 secs. May be worth a shot?

Hello all,

Rocky hit the winner here. I had missed that small circular panel tucked between the drawer and entry door. Found that, turned the power on for the solenoid, and heard it switch. Then went through starting steps and it lit right up. Thanks again all for the assistance!
