How do you remove the blades. I see a lever on top of the blade but I cannot get it to move. Maybe I should force it with a screwdriver or pliers. Any suggestions on where to buy new blades?
 
On my 2018 C28, the arm is a standard "J" shaped end found on many autos (same as my F150). Try a flat blade screwdriver (gently) to pop that lever up and remove the blade. You need a 22" replacement blade (standard, not winter type), about $10 at Walmart...

The latest. In trying to fit the new blades I broke the lever that holds the blade. Looks like I will have to buy the entire two arm fitting. However it may be that the fitting that holds the blade and on which the broken lever resides can be replaced. Appreciate any thoughts on this.
 
I 1st polish the glass with glass polish and then clean it well, then I put rainx on the glass. Clean it off and then put rainx on the glass again.
I do this twice a year, and it works excellently. The wipers on the R27 are a waste to use. I hope this helps.

Thanks yogi. I will do what you suggest. I am surprised that Cutwater has not responded.
 
We now use SeaPower Cleaner Wax on all of our 2017 C-28 glass. Found it gives better performance than RainX which we used for a couple of years on our R-25 Classic. Still use the C-28 wipers from time to time though.
 
I'm ready to apply rain-x original for the first time. I see some warnings on the label about possible issues with applying to some plastics, painted surfaces, other coatings, etc. Anyone experience issues with rain-x effecting the exterior mesh windshield sun shade material?
 
I just replaced my wiper blade on my C-288, I don’t know if this will help, but this is the response I’ve received from the factory
