2019 R27 Air conditioner Flush

The Raw water discharge from our AC system has been trickling for quite a while. I've read on line that Barnacle Buster is a good product to "de-gunk" the system. Is there a way to flush the system without cutting in a tee? I'd rather not alter the factory hoses. Also, is Barnacle Buster the only way to do it? Thank you in advance.

The correct way would be to make up a continuous loop and let it flush intermittently for a few hours. If you want to try an easier way, but probably not as effective. Wear googles and work clothes. Get a hand coolant pump https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Antifreeze-Waterlines-Winterizing-36003/dp/B0006IX7YW and make up a hose that will fit tight into the discharge. Open the thru hull and pump until the fluid runs out then shut the valve and let it sit for a few hours, Then flush with garden hose same way you did the buster. See if that cleared it up. You may have to do it a few times.

You may have already done this but I will throw it out there..
Be sure intake on boat bottom is clear. If you cannot get to it you might just turn off valve, unscrew cap to strainer, then reopen to see if water comes in freely. If not may need to clean inlet. Then with valve closed I would force hose water into strainer hole that leads to a/c. See if water goes freely through a/c and out through hole on side of boat. Finally, be sure connections on supply side of pump are tight and free of air leaks. On mine the elbow connection was not right and some air would leak in. I since replaced it.

Barnacle buster is ok as long as you can find a way for it to stay in the system for at least 30 minutes. Like Knotflying suggests.
