2019 R27 Bow Thruster

Please - what Lewmar model is the bow thruster for this boat, and what is the part number for the drive pin? I want to put some in stock. I now own an R27, but it is 1500 miles away from me. Thank you.

Congrats on the new boat!
If you contact Richard in parts at Ranger Tug, he can get you a sheet of popular service and spare parts. The shear pins are on that sheet - at least they were for my 2018 R29.

Curious: when did Ranger change from Sidepower to Lewmar thrusters.

Just went out to my27 in the barn and checked.. Lewmar 110-140TT 2.0 is the model number on the manual.
Thruster pin num is 559107.. just bought 2 spares from Richard.

Curious: when did Ranger change from Sidepower to Lewmar thrusters.

I believe the change from Sidepower to Lewmar is only for the R23 and R27/OB models. The Sidepower units are still being installed in the other RT models - R29 and R31.

The Lewmar units are all composite except for the prop retaining SS washer&nut and as such does not require an anode as for the Lewmar units. The Lewmar's use of SS washer&not will collect weeping rust and should IMO be cleaned off periodically.
