I have purchased a replacement depth transducer for my 2019 R27. How do I pull the new cable from the transducer (under the step cover to the berth) and get it to the plotter? The original cable is still in place but it will not pull very far in either direction. I assume it is wrapped up with the many other cables that pass down from the plotter cavity forward of the throttle. I pulled the switch plate for the windlass/horn and can see where the cables drop down but it is crowded with wires. I really don't want to splice at the transducer by using the old cable. Any suggestions?

A inexpensive fish tape (wire puller) should do the trick, you can just leave the old cable in place and tuck the ends out of the way. Bob

Thanks for the reply. I did try a fish tape on my first attempt and it is a tight fit with all the wires. I doubt the new cable plug will pass through the wire bundle. I am going to try to find a less congested path today.
