Can someone provide me an accurate weight...I'm getting conflicting info everywhere. This spec sheet says 6200 dry weight (I assume that is withOUT the motor). https://cutwaterboats.blob.core.windows ... et-web.pdf. I believe this is correct- so + motor it will be 6483. (bone dry empty of fuel and water).

I've seen other places that say 4400 lbs (https://www.powerandmotoryacht.com/boat ... 2C900%20lb).

I have been keeping her in the Edmonds Marina and using it to go back and forth to our home in Port Ludlow (that has its own dock) and I'm moving her to PL permanently. I bought a trailer and will only use it to tow it from my house to our community marina 1 mile away. I'm super close on the trucks capacity.

Thanks in advance!

The only way to know for sure is to weigh your boat+trailer on commercial scales. Fluid Motion has consistently under stated the real world boat weight. Personal gear can add hundreds of pounds as can fuel and fresh water. Your trailer could add 1,500 pounds or more to the total towed weight.
My SWAG on your total towing weight is that you are in the 8,500 to 9,000 pound range. My old R-25 Classic (FM published dry weight of 5,700 pounds) consistently weighed in at 9,550 to 9,700 pounds on a 2,000 pound trailer.

Thanks...your estimate is about where I'm at...I've got it weighing in (gear and all) around 8500 lbs but could be closer to your estimate. Boat is 6200, trailer is 1360 so I'm already at 7560 and the tow capacity of my vehicle is 7500. Will it pull it? sure. Should I? Probably not but for less than a mile I may test it once...its just a very steep hill down to the marina.

I weighed my 2018 C24 coming back from Florida last year and came up with Boat and aluminum two axle trailer at 7705 pounds with 1/4 tank of fuel and little gear. Trailer probably came in at around 1300 pounds. This was at one commercial scale and I found Loves to be around 5 percent less. I hope this helps.

KKRCRACE,
Was this just the weight of the trailer’s axles on the scale or did it include a calculation to account for the tongue weight on the tow vehicle?

I would say that included tongue weight. I have a separate number of 860 for tongue weight. The 7705 was the total weight of boat and trailer unhooked from my Suburban.

Super helpful. Gives me enough confidence to tow it to a scale and weigh it 🙂

If you're still moored in Edmonds, you may have another option; the public launch sling has a scale on it. I don't know how accurate it is but I pulled our R27 yesterday and the sling weight was right around the weight I'd estimated we'd be. The Port would likely lift/weigh your boat for the price of a one-way haul. A close approximation of your trailer weight should be on the registration.

I had no idea so thank-you for the info. Just scheduled to get her weighed and I'll report back. Guess on the weight LOL? My guess:

Dry Weight: 6200
Fuel: she has 32 gallons so 192
Kicker: 100
After market batteries: 125
Gear: 200
__________
6817 + fudge factor= I'm going with 7300

🙂
