Question,
The Fresh Water Gauge stopped working and looking under the hatch in the floor where the water tank is how do you access the top of the water tank to replace the sensor?

Before you assume the sensor is bad take the boat out in some rough water to give it a good shake. Our water gauge often gets stuck and the rough water trick has always freed it.

Ours sticks once in awhile on our 2017 R31. More often, I will get fooled because I think there is no water in the tank or the tank gauge is all the way down and then realize that the pressure pump was not on. On my boat, if the pump is not "on" the gauge will read empty.

Hi David,

To chime in with the rest of the gang here, definitely check the gauge first before going deep diving for the sensor. The majority of the problems I've seen with what you're describing were gauge related. Hope this helps a bit.

What Curt said!
Our '17 25SC and our '19 27OB both would stick... The 25 took a good wake to unstick it... The 27, I could jump on and off the gunwale and it would work. Both would be ok until the next fill..
Our new 31 seems to "unstick" itself if it sits overnight...
