2020 RT27 OB depth finder quit

I had my 2020 RT27 OB out yesterday and the depth finder was flashing more then usual. I decided to top off the fluid at the transducer. After adding fluid and screwing the transducer back in place I had no readings at all, just dashes where the depth should be on the Garmin. Pretty weird because I didn’t do anything but add fluid. The Garmin shows the transducer is turned on. Anyone have this happen or have any suggestions?

Hi there,

Without being able to see what may have happened to the installation, it's difficult to tell. Make sure you used a propylene glycol RV type antifreeze. Also, make sure the transducer is seated properly in the cup and that it is turned so that the top is flat in relation to the water line. Hopefully this will help but let us know if you have more information.

Similar issue and corrected mine by resetting the Sonar depth settings.
