Has anyone figured out a modification to get a half arc of wiping motion instead of a quarter arc?

Short answer is no. There is no adjustment to increase the arc. Answer from FM is use Rain-X.

I have an RT 27 same thing with the wipers. I have a window polisher handheld from Griots garage in Tacoma Wa It runs on a battery and is small enough that is AWSOME. I polish the windows about two times a year and then put two coats of rain-x and it works great. I use my boat all year long in Gig Harbor Wa. That's my story and I am going to stick with it. THIS WORKS

I likewise wax my windshield and it works well most of the time.

Has any R27-OB owner explored the possibility of replacing factory wipers with pantograph wipers. It seems like the wiper action of a pantograph wiper would be more effective on a curved windshield. See R29's.
