2021 R31 CB - transducer location

So I’ve tried everything to get a consistent sonar reading. Reset it, turned transducer on and off through the Garmin. But it really never works - just flashes a random depth. Weirdly, when I went out today, it wasn’t working until I got out into the Bay, where it worked at trolling speed (it showed what I think is the correct depth based on chart. It also marked fish, but I’ll assume that my inability to catch them is unrelated). But as soon as I pulled in the lines and increased speed above idle, it stopped working again.

Assume I need to check the fluid, but where is the transducer? I read in one post it is under the refrigerator. If that’s true, can you access it without removing the fridge?

Yes the transducer on a 2021 R31 is under the refrigerator in the cabin. Only way to access it is to remove the refrigerator.
If you do tackle this. It works best to remove the door first. There isn’t much room if the door is left on plus you will likely scratch the door. I had my fridge out when I was adding a heat duct to the head.
