We are pleased to announce that we have opened our pre-registration for our annual cruise to Desolation Sound B.C. The Desolation Sound cruise is our most popular cruise and has gotten so popular that we are offering pre-registration to the first 30 customers that meet the following criteria:
1. Customers who have purchased a new Ranger Tug or Cutwater Boat from us or one of our dealers and
2. who have been on a factory cruise to Poets Cove, Ganges Marina, or Maple Bay Marina and
3. who have not been on the Desolation Sound cruise before.
The remaining 10 spaces will be made available through a lottery drawing to all our remaining customers that own a Ranger Tug or Cutwater Boat and have participated in a factory cruise to Poets Cove, Ganges Marina, or Maple Bay Marina. We wish we could have the entire fleet join us, but dock space is very limited. There is a $250 charge for the cruise.
To pre-register for the cruise please contact our receptionist, Marlene Chambers via email at receptionist@rangertugs.com and include the following information in your email:
Name
Boat name
Boat model and year
Do you meet all three prerequisites or are you entering the lottery?
Phone number
Please note, the Desolation Sound Cruise is open-ended. The factory-led portion of the trip ends at Gorge Harbour. Participants should plan to stay up in Desolation Sound on their own or with buddy boats to explore and play beyond Gorge Harbour. We will meet as a group in Canada on July 23rd and stay in a group until July 27th at which point everyone goes their own way to explore the area. We recommend giving yourself another week (or more) to explore Desolation Sound and make it home.
Now, for fun stuff! Make the exciting journey north to beautiful Gorge Harbour with the Ranger Tugs & Cutwater Boats factory team!
This year’s stops include Telegraph Harbour Marina, Comox Valley Marina, and Gorge Harbour Marina. We’ll meet at Telegraph Harbour on Saturday, July 23rd to kick off the cruise. That afternoon, we’ll have a potluck dinner and captains meeting up in the pavilion at Telegraph. The factory team will be grilling up the main course, bring a side dish.
The following day we head to Comox Marina. It is a fun stop and a great place to provision for your time in Desolation Sound. We will stay in Comox for two nights. Our BC Ranger Tug & Cutwater Boats dealer, Port Boat House will be providing a delicious dinner for us in Comox.
Our final destination as a group will be beautiful Gorge Harbour Marina. We will spend two nights at Gorge Harbour Marina. On our final night in Gorge, the factory team will be grilling up dinner for everyone.
We hope you can join us for this exciting cruise! We will post a detailed schedule in a couple weeks. Lottery winners will be notified on or near April 13th.
Thank you!
