Check your fresh water tank level first. The fresh water gauge float often gets stuck and reads incorrect. Fill the water tank and see if it stops. Otherwise you may have a water or air leak. Check for water in the bilge. There should be a water pressure breaker you can shut off to get it to stop until resolved. Otherwise there is always the house battery switch.

I had the same experience. Make sure your fresh water tank is full and run all the fresh water faucets, including transom washdown, until you have full flow at all faucets. Turn them off and the water pump should stop.

OK, found the issue. Accidentally switched on salt water pump next to grill port side. Had to reprime the pump. Rookie mistake. Thanks for the feedback!

Did the same a couple weeks ago on our R27. No idea how long it was running. Coulda been several hours. It seems the raw water pump will run continuously with switch near grill in on position if there is air in the line. Once it is purged of air it won’t run when switch is on. Guessing there is a pressure switch in the pump. Now it runs only when water is being called for. Learn something every day!
