21EC Hose size

Sorry for this simple question...I am not near my boat for a while and so I am not able to measure the hose ID of the raw water intake hose after the raw water filter and before the raw water pump. I wish to order an Aqualarm water flow alarm to place inline and don't want to guess at the correct hose size.

Hello Bob,

It's 3/4" ID hose on my 2013 21EC with Yanmar engine.

I bought the Aqualarm Save Your Engine Kit - 1/2" - 3/4" from Defender.com as shown here (http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?pat ... &id=744093). With this kit you will need (2) 1" mpt to 3/4" hose adapters.

It's a great little monitor.
