22ec fuel tank

Ahoy,
For practical purposes , how much of the 18 gallon tank is usable? What is a relative fuel left in the tank ( in inches ) safe level before I risk sucking air ?

Mr. Grouch, Your question would depend on location of the fuel pick up from the bottom of the tank, and how much roll from side to side you are having while underway. I usually keep about a quarter of a tank as a minimum before refueling. the fuel system on the R-21 is easy to prime and getting air out of the fuel system is done every time the fuel filters are changed. Thank you for your reply on my 2011 ec "Equinox". I'm
starting my 5th year since I purchased my tug. I have followed your posts and replies. I, and I'm sure many others, have gained a lot of knowledge about our tugs . You have been a big help.
