Can anyone tell me what and where the 24/7 fuses would be on 2016 R27 removal for winter storage?

Have you checked the manual. If you don’t have one you can find it as a download under Ranger Technical Manuals.

Hope this helps.

To be safe, I would not mind removing all fuses when laying up for the winter (I killed one battery last winter). Is there any concern about doing this? Would this ensure that nothing would be still drawing juice? I know I can remove the terminals, but given the space and design, removing the terminals would be a big PIA.

Thoughts?

I have a '18 27OB with the Webasto diesel heater, even pulling all the 24/7 fuses and turning off all the breaker/switches I can find, it still has power. It doesn't draw much, but it will pull the battery down over a month. Because of this, while my boat is in storage for the winter, I connect/run my portable generator to the "shore power" connection once a month and top off the batteries. My boat is stored on my property so it is easy to do, easier than pulling and disconnecting the batteries.

Hi Beyond R27,

The 24/7 fuse panel will be located behind the wood hatch in the quarter berth. You'll be looking for the panel that has the six fuses marked Float #1 Float #2, CO monitor, stove switch, and stereo memory. (you may have a variant of that depending on which stove you have) These are the 24/7 fuses and have power to them at all times. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Disconnect all the negative side cable on the batteries and you won't have to worry about pulling fuses.
