Hello everyone,
The 2nd annual Southeast Rendezvous plans are coming together. The event will be from February 1 through February 4, 2013 at the Palm Island Marina in Cape Haze, Florida. We plan on having several presentations which include: Garmin, Imtra (thruster supplier), Wefings ( Ranger Dealer) , Sea Tow, Diesel maintenance and more. We are also planning an overnight cruise to Cayo Costa.
All those interested please click on this link:
https://www.yousendit.com/download/WUJiS3hRcG84Q1JMWE1UQwl to download event information, sign up forms for event attendance and slip reservations. The Marina requires that slip reservations for events be done through a central booking person. Carol Whittier is handling this task and her contact information is on the slip reservation form.
We ask that you please commit to attendance by December 15, 2012. This will allow us enough time to secure vendor gifts, prizes and work with the caterer for meals.
We look forward to a successful event and a good time for all.
Mike Rizzo & Carol Whittier.

yousendit link is broken.

For those who are interested, we have extended the sign up date to December 31, 2012. The sooner you sign up the better so that we can work with the most accurate count for the marina and caterer. Here is the updated link that will work so you can download all the forms and information. https://www.yousendit.com/download/WUJaWWVobEE3bUFsYzlVag

Thanks,
Mike Rizzo

This should be on the front page.

We had a blast at last years Florida Rendezvous, made many new friends and only wish we could be with everyone this year. If you're in or near Cape Haze Florida the 1st of February, own a Ranger Tug or might be interested in Ranger Tugs you owe it to yourself to attend this event.

Merry Christmas,

Jim and Lisa

We're new owners of a Ranger 31 "Cocoa Gold" and are planning to attend.
Sadly, we are planning to come by car only from Melbourne, Florida as we're not sure if we'll receive her from Seattle by then.

Great!! You will surely be sad when you see all those tugs and yours will be somewhere between Kent and the Rendezvous. Perhaps Ranger can plan a surprise delivery at Palm Island.

Attended the Southeast Gathering yesterday , Great Job Mike ! about 17 boats , great seminars from Garmin, Imtra,Magic Tilt ,and more coming today. Fun activities, well organized raffle and food and drink. Palm Island Marina[great staff!] was a perfect spot for this event . More fun today . I encourage any tuggers to conme to this in sunny SW Florida .I saw alot of our customers and boats we know, going back to the very early days of Ranger Tugs on the East Coast .Great to see everybody and Im sure it will be bigger and better than ever next year !

Thanks for the complement Marc! Yes, it is always great to get together with other Tug owners and get ideas, learn from experience and enjoy the camaraderie. Some vendors like Starbrite and prism polish donated products for the goodie bags. Ranger Tugs provided a grand raffle prize and the famous hats we all covet. Marc Grove from Wefings provided a gift certificate that we also used for one of our raffle prizes. Today the Coast Guard auxiliary will be doing boat inspections for anyone who wants one. This is a great opportunity to make sure your boat is in compliance and helps avoid unsolicited official boarding in the future.
We look forward to seeing old friends and new faces at our next event in 2014. Once a date is established we will let everyone know.
Enjoy the rest of your boating season

Lisa and I miss so much being south this winter, as we shovel snow seemingly every day, that we're ready to commit to next years 3rd Annual Southeast Rendezvous. We hope everyone is having a grand time, making new friends and enjoying the sun. It's 6 degrees as I'm writing this to you fortunate Tugnutters in Florida!

What a great Rendezvous! Altho' Mohamed and I had to leave early I'd like to extend special thank-you to all the organizers who put in so much effort and time to make this a memorable few days.

What a great time we all had. Those that missed the Cayo Costa - Cabbage Key legs of the event missed some great scenery, food and comaraderie! I can't wait for next year and I'm thrilled that Jim and Lisa Favors are planning to be with us next year.
