Hi all
Just wanted to post I had to replace the fan on my front ( bedroom ) air conditioner and wanted to share that was not bad at all. I had put it off as long as I could ( fan finally quit) . I thought it would be a really tough job.. It wasn’t .. Remove fridge climb in hole, do the work.. The motor and fan come as a unit. One large band clamp to loosen Two screws holding a clamp in place to remove. Y connector for ducting to remove and it comes out. I cut the motor wires.. these I reconnected with heat shrink butt connectors ..Part was $450 CDN ..I think $350 or less in the USA from what I saw on line.
Anyways if anyone needs details on how to do it, I am happy to share.
